Econ Development

Financial Literacy

A space for individuals to build financial knowledge and support their goals of starting to save for the future or improving their credit. Small groups of individuals receive hands-on support while they prepare their financial goals and move to action.

Salsa De La Vida Cooperative

Beginning in 2018 Villa Comunitaria has been working with local residents, and Healthy Food Promotoras, to learn about food access and food justice issues.  A core group of five community members is growing organic vegetables at Marra Farm. This pilot project is working to create a coop model for participants to develop value-added products and develop a food enterprise business.
